Château Comme Ci, Comme Ça Gamay 2021
A wine that should be drunk chilled. Aaron Fenwick is in his fourth round of producing wines. This lip-smacking Gamay has racing acidity and plenty of cranberry and cherry fruits. He’s making his wines out of Anton Von Klopper’s shed – which says a lot about how the wines are produced. As he says himself, there’s nothing but grapes. No additions or subtractions. Fruit from Pooks Hill Vineard, half destemmed, half carbonic, slowly crushed over a week and pressed all together. Coming in at 9.5% Abv, it makes for easy sipping. Just pure summer fun.
