Hey Jupiter x BK Wines Côte Rousse 2022
In recent times, Christophe and Brendon Keys of BK Wines spent a number of jovial long lunches discussing the prospect of making a wine for our restaurant Hey Jupiter, that encapsulates the feel and flavours of the Brasserie style of dining.
BK set about the task, crafting a smashing medium weight Shiraz, that is styled after Christophe's favoured Côte Rôtie. It has really punchy red current fruit, gentle acidity and peppery overtones. There is a hint of Viognier that lifts the fragrance out of the glass and hits you with violets and blueberries, which is true to style. The fruit is sourced from thirty year old, organically farmed vineyards in Kuitpo.
It's a wine crafted to drink with great food in great company and we're delighted to offer it to you to drink at home as well.
