Vincent Couche joins a small cadre of growers that make up the Champagne grower Renaissance that is in full flight at present. His Biodynamically farmed, and intelligently produced bubbles are luscious and vinous, meaning you'll easily enjoy drinking them from a full sized wine glass. The fruit comes from Southern Champagne from the Aube commune and is predominately Pinot Noir, so its falls on the side of richer, fuller style approaching the red fruit and ripe pear spectrum. It's crying out for a creamy lobster raviolo or something of this calibre. Ample complexity and bubbly satisfaction at a comparable price point to the larger, dominant Champagne houses.
