Lefebvre d’Anselme Cinsault 2022
Juicy, perfumed, bright. Think little red fruits that bounce around in the mouth and then sliced right down the middle by a sharp line of acid. Louis and Béatrice are based in Sabran in the Rhône Valley and produce a number of wines under a Vin de France and a Côtes du Rhône label. We don't see a lot of straight Cinsault however, and at this price point you'll find it hard to put the glass down. Pair with something that you'd usually drink Pinot Noir with, such as roast duck or some hearty fish.
