Provence
The home of summer Rosé. Stick the bottle over ice and sit by the pool. Maybe a little dried saucisson and Salade Niçoise for a light lunch. Then at night, chill down the reds and feast on some Mediterranean style cuisine while the Mistral wind blows.
You’ll find Grenache rosé in abundance in Provence, but if we look to the village of Bandol we find complex rosé and graceful reds made from Mourvèdre.
