Meyer-Fonné Muscat Réserve 2022
Alsatian Muscat holds a unique place in gastronomy, as it pairs so well with intensely flavoured vegetable dishes such as artichokes and with spicier Asian dishes, owing to its exotic fruit character and orange blossom aromas. Félix Meyer producers one of the finest examples in Alsace from their holdings in the Katzenthal basin. A blend Muscat Ottonel and Muscat d'Alsace, It undergoes a long and slow cold ferment, following by nine months of lees. It's clean and expressive with salivating acid to keep things fresh. Ideal for artichokes in vinaigrette or some sashimi with a hint of wasabi.
