Félix Meyer's Réserve Riesling is an ideal place to make a foray into Alsatian wines, and is also a go-to for enthusiasts to drink during bouts of thirst. The fruit constitutes a blend of some of Meyer's finest sites, including some fruit declassified from Grand-Cru vineyards, to produce a classic dry style Riesling. It ticks all the boxes, with fresh tropical fruits, mineral backbone, floral tones and has a bottle-emptying ease of drinking which makes opening a second somewhat obligatory.
