Christophe et Fils Chablis Blanchot Grand Cru 2022
Chardonnay with electrifying tension and longevity. Blanchot tends to ripen slightly later than it's neighbouring vineyards, due to it's protected slopes that reach around one hundred and eighty to two hundred metres in altitude. Sebastien Christophe started out with a small portion of Petit-Chablis, which he inherited, slowly building his holding to include a number of 1er Crus and a Grand Cru. Blanchot is one that will cellar superbly, resolving the tension and resulting in delicious citrus curd and stone fruits that linger along a tightrope line of acidity.
