Jean Foillard Morgon Elles 2018
A tiny production made by Agnes Foillard, wife of legendary Jean Foillard, and her friend Nadine. They’ve really hit the nail on the head. Essentially we have the finesse of the Morgon ‘Côte du Py’ dialled up a notch, to create a wine that is light and ethereal. It’s the type of red you can drink with some poached fish, such as cod, in a rich bisque. For habitual drinking of Foillard, this shows the classic Côte du Py in a new light.
