Jean-François is meticulous yet pragmatic with his 14 hectares of vineyards in the town of Puimisson. Meticulous in the sense of his organic farming and use of natural yeasts and minimal sulfur. He’s even planted hundreds of olive trees to protect his vines from neighbourly farming practices. Pragmatic in his approach in the cellar by treating his numerous varieties with the attention that each vintage requires. We love the depth in the wines of Mas Coutelou and this one is as it’s named, all classe.
