Mont de Marie Anathéme Rouge 2020
With a sense of irony and in a way that is almost teasing us, Thierry Forestier has named his wine, Anathéme. A word used to describe something or someone you really despise. In reality it’s hard not to like this Grenache blend. It’s bright, fresh and playful. It’s organic and it hasn't been over-handled. Thierry is an ex-IT guy who has returned to farming in the village of Souvignargues, located in the Gard department. He bought 11 hectares of vines, already organically farmed and gave it a red hot go. This a great bistro wine, to go with a bistro style burger or a roasted bird.
