A wine for cellaring and bringing out when the occasion arises. Shiraz predominate, with a splash of Viognier, which is the Cote-Rotie signature. It has deep and rich blueberry fruit, with violet perfume. All the while with lashings of leathery oak tannins, as it's been aged for twenty six months in new French oak. This wine will last for decades. La Brocarde is a lieu-dit (or a collection of vineyards within an area), within the Côte-Brune. A Shiraz made for Shiraz lovers.
