Vignobles Pueyo Tellus Vinea Rouge 2019
This is the type of Bordeaux we’d drink any day of the week. Bold and rustic, with dark blackcurrants at the forefront. Wine sees no oak, it’s fermented in stainless steel and ends up in cement vats, to really drive the primary fruit flavours. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from Lalande-de-Pomerol, which sits on the right bank, just outside the town of Libourne. A mid-weight, fruit forward wine makes for easy drinking. Bring it out while you're braising some lamb shanks.
