Friendship duo Koko and Dave make a duo of Aussie Savagnin from the McLaren Vale (the other being Mt Savagnin). ‘Metro’ sees a fair bit of skin contact, giving it some orange peel and stone fruits up front followed by some nuttiness and a clawing acid structure. Although it’s hard to pin down the style, there is no beating around the bush with this one, it’s just plain tasty. If you’re looking to drink white on a cooler evening, and have an excess of soft cheese and charcuterie in your fridge, then this is the way to go.
