Domaine Chermette Beaujolais Origine Vieilles Vignes 2020
Sourced from four hectares of densely-planted vines in Saint-Vérand, some of which are up to one hundred years old. It’s got some depth and structure that’s for sure. Plenty of silky tannin and some crunchy raspberry fruit to lift it out the glass, while fine acidity really drives it home. Named after the style of making Beaujolais of yesteryear. Traditional vinification with ageing in large oak vats for six months before bottling.
